The role is the final checkpoint on financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance while giving management the insight to manage costs, strengthen cash flow and identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Candidates need a degree in Accounting or Finance, with ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent preferred, and 5+ years of relevant experience ideally in logistics or freight forwarding. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting, general ledger, reconciliations and the monthly closing of books
- Manage payables, receivables and collections to maintain healthy cash flow
- Review job files, transaction reports and vendor payments for accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports, P&L, cash flow statements and MIS reports to senior management
- Support budgeting and forecasting, and lead year-end audit preparation
- Oversee payroll, fixed assets and bank trade finance facilities
