Job Summary
PFC Group is seeking a Cost Control Manager with 7-10 years of UAE construction experience and an engineering background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, and daily control tasks including verifying purchase orders and material requisitions. Strong knowledge of cost control, advanced MS Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare and finalize project execution budgets promptly after tender handover
- Maintain budget compliance, cross-checked against MRs, productivity reports, and the purchasing system
Cost Monitoring & Reporting
- Generate weekly manpower productivity reports
- Prepare and issue comprehensive monthly cost reports
Daily Control Tasks
- Verify purchase orders and material requisitions against site records
- Validate manpower and equipment requisitions via the ERP system before deployment
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Cost Control Manager vacancy must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- 7-10 years of construction experience
- UAE construction industry experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and forecasting
Eligibility
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience working with ERP systems is preferred
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
