Job Overview
Job Summary
Express Pack Print FZE is urgently seeking an experienced and results-driven Chief Accountant – Financial & Cost to join their finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role, with essential manufacturing experience. Strong ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O), advanced Excel skills, and expertise in cost accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting are required. CMA/ACCA preferred. Packaging industry experience is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting, month-end/year-end closing, reconciliations, and general ledger activities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, dashboards, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Lead cost accounting, product costing, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost analysis
- Monitor COGS, material consumption, labor, utilities, overheads, and standard cost variances
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Manage AR, AP, fixed assets, cash flow, payroll accounting, VAT and tax compliance
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and management teams to support business decisions
- Lead audit activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Chief Accountant – Financial & Cost vacancy must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years of accounting/finance experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Manufacturing experience is essential
- Strong ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, and advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory, VAT, and internal controls
Eligibility
- CMA/ACCA preferred
- Packaging industry experience is an advantage
