Job Summary
SLM Interior Fit-out Company is seeking a detail-oriented and industry-savvy Assistant Procurement Officer with proven experience in the interior fit-out or construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring timely procurement to support ongoing fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials (joinery, MEP, finishes, furniture, etc.) required for fit-out and interior projects.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors in the interior fit-out industry.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project schedules and budgets.
- Compare quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and the design department to determine material and equipment needs.
- Track deliveries, ensure timely supply to sites, and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain updated records of suppliers, pricing, and procurement history.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.
- Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
