Job Overview
Job Summary
Laith Electromechanical LLC is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant for their growing retail trading company. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, experience in inventory management, and hands-on expertise with ODOO ERP Software. This role requires 2-3 years of accounting experience in a retail trading environment, proficiency in MS Excel, and the ability to work independently. A valid UAE Driving Licence is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations and financial transactions
- Ensure accurate accounting of Payment Vouchers, Receipt Vouchers, and Petty Cash Vouchers through assistants
- Supervise the preparation of salary slips, overtime calculations, and time cards when required
- Maintain accounting records, supporting documents, and financial files in compliance with auditor requirements
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting and ledger maintenance
- Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies or issues requiring management attention
- Assist in internal and external audits and coordinate audit-related activities
- Perform regular ledger reviews and ensure the integrity of accounting records
- Monitor inventory transactions and reconcile inventory records with financial data
- Support Quality Management System (QMS) implementation and maintain relevant documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives and operational efficiency
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Finance Manager, Accounts Manager, or CFO
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Accountant vacancy must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- 2-3 years of accounting experience in a Retail Trading Company
- Strong proficiency in ODOO ERP Software
- Experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and ledger management

- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
