Job Overview
Job Summary
DRAIPL is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai and support the financial success of large-scale infrastructure projects. The role covers general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end closing, financial statements and project cost reports, budget and revenue monitoring, reconciliations, audits and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3–7 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in the infrastructure, construction, engineering or project-based industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger accounting and month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports and project cost reports.
- Monitor project budgets, costs and revenue recognition.
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and operational teams on financial matters.
- Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
- Assist in cash flow forecasting and financial planning, and ensure timely tax filings and statutory compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Accountant vacancy in Dubai must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in infrastructure, construction, engineering or project-based industry.
- Strong understanding of project accounting and cost control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics, plus advanced Excel skills.
Preferred
- Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA or equivalent.
- Experience on large infrastructure or capital projects and knowledge of IFRS and project revenue recognition.
- Experience in multinational or regional infrastructure companies.
