Job Summary
NXTL is hiring a General Accountant in Al Quoz, Dubai to handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for the company's corporate services operations. The role covers invoicing, bank reconciliations, monthly closing support, VAT filings and management of receivables and payables.
This is an ideal role for a UAE-experienced accountant who is methodical, detail-oriented and comfortable working closely with suppliers, clients and internal departments in a fast-paced business services environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping activities for the business.
- Prepare invoices, payments and bank reconciliations on a timely basis.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting reports.
- Assist in monthly closing activities and provide documentation for audit requirements.
- Prepare and submit VAT filings in full compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations.
- Monitor receivables and payables, including ageing analysis and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients and internal departments on accounting matters.
Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of UAE accounting experience.
- Practical knowledge of UAE VAT filing and general accounting practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and at least one major accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books or similar).

Preferred
