Job Summary
Horizon Exchange, one of the leading exchange houses in the UAE regulated by the Central Bank of the UAE since 2004, is hiring experienced and customer-focused Tellers. The role requires previous experience in an Exchange House, which is mandatory, along with experience in cash handling and currency exchange, knowledge of remittance transactions and foreign exchange, and a good understanding of KYC and AML requirements. Strong customer service, communication, numerical and transaction-processing skills are essential. Candidates must currently be available in the UAE, and immediate joiners will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions and currency exchange for customers
- Process remittance transactions accurately and efficiently
- Verify customer identification and ensure KYC compliance
- Support AML and regulatory requirements in daily transactions
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries professionally
- Maintain accurate transaction records and balance cash at the end of each shift
- Assist customers with mobile wallet transfers and instant money transfers
- Handle foreign currency exchange rates and advise customers accordingly
