Link Light Electrical Works L.L.C, a DEWA approved Electrical contractor registered in Dubai since 1994 and accredited to ISO 9001:2015, is hiring two Switchgear Design Engineers for Control and Automation. The role requires 4 to 7 years of relevant switchgear or electrical panel design experience, with UAE experience mandatory or preferred. Candidates must have hands-on Schneider Electric PLC and Control Expert experience, experience in PCC, MCC, LV and MV switchgear and control or automation panels, PLC programming, I/O configuration, interlocking and troubleshooting experience, and knowledge of electrical control schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts. EPLAN experience is preferred, and VFD, HMI or SCADA and industrial communication experience will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design switchgear and control panels for PCC, MCC, LV and MV applications
- Program Schneider Electric PLC systems using Control Expert
- Configure I/O, interlocks and control logic for automation panels
- Prepare electrical control schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts
- Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding during panel testing and commissioning
- Coordinate with project engineers, clients and vendors on design requirements
- Support integration of VFD, HMI or SCADA and industrial communication systems
- Prepare technical documentation, drawings and design submissions

Mandatory Requirements
- Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering qualification
- 4 to 7 years of relevant switchgear or electrical panel design experience
- UAE experience is mandatory or preferred
