Novel Technical Services, a leading UAE equipment rental company founded in 2021 in Abu Dhabi providing generators, air compressors, tower lights and more, is hiring a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for its generator rental and technical-services business. The role involves maintaining accurate accounting records and daily transactions, preparing customer invoices and tracking rental billing, managing accounts receivable and payable with payment follow-ups, recording supplier invoices, purchases and expenses, reconciling bank accounts and customer and supplier balances, assisting with payroll, VAT documentation and financial reporting, and coordinating with sales and operations teams on accurate billing. Candidates need a degree in Accounting or Finance, previous accounting experience with UAE experience preferred, familiarity with UAE VAT requirements, mandatory proficiency in Zoho Books, strong Microsoft Excel skills, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and record daily transactions
- Prepare customer invoices and track rental billing
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including payment follow-ups
- Record supplier invoices, purchases and expenses
- Reconcile bank accounts and customer and supplier balances
- Assist with payroll, VAT documentation and financial reporting
- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to ensure accurate billing and supporting documentation
- Maintain accurate records in Zoho Books and Excel-based trackers

Mandatory Requirements
