Job Summary
Spaceme, a complete 360 degree turnkey fit-out specialist serving the Commercial, Retail, Healthcare and F&B sectors across the UAE and KSA, is hiring an experienced Senior Accountant in the UAE. The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, with interior fit-out industry experience considered an added advantage. The successful candidate will join a growing finance team managing day-to-day accounting, financial reporting and project-level financial control for bespoke fit-out projects delivered by Spaceme's in-house joinery, steel and welding facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting entries, bookkeeping and financial record keeping
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing and payment processing
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements
- Monitor project costs and support project profitability analysis
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation and internal controls

Mandatory Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes

Preferred Qualifications
- Interior fit-out industry experience is an added advantage
- UAE experience in a similar role
