Job Summary
Emirates Bustanica, the world's largest indoor vertical farm and a subsidiary of Emirates Flight Catering backed by the Emirates Group, is hiring a Merchandiser in Dubai. The role involves monitoring sales performance and identifying losses or stock wastage, managing order processing and timely delivery communication with suppliers and distributors, collecting and consolidating market and customer feedback, arranging and managing stock display and rotation, assessing display effectiveness and store layouts, reviewing competitor brand presence, managing invoices, LPOs and delivery orders, and managing vehicle logs and company vehicles. Candidates need a High School Diploma with relevant merchandising experience in B2B food or retail, a minimum of 3 years of UAE experience as a Merchandiser in retail, and a valid UAE driving license with access to a car. Experience in the fruit and vegetable category is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor sales performance and identify losses or stock wastage
- Manage order processing and timely delivery communication with suppliers and distributors
- Collect and consolidate market and customer feedback and report to the immediate Manager
- Arrange and manage stock display and rotation to optimise space utilisation
- Assess the effectiveness of product displays and store layouts
- Review competitor brand presence including pricing, in-store marketing and promotional activity
- Maintain understanding of merchandising trends and industry best practices
- Manage invoices, Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) and delivery orders in line with company guidelines
- Apply merchandising strategy and promotional activity to deliver measurable sales improvements
- Manage and maintain vehicle logs and ensure proper care and maintenance of company vehicles
