Job Summary
ALD Chemicals Trading L.L.C., a Dubai-based trading and manufacturing company specializing in minerals, fertilizers, industrial chemicals, agricultural commodities and coal, is hiring an experienced Accountant for its Dubai operations. The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting knowledge and practical experience in international trade finance and banking procedures. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE and hands-on experience with Letters of Credit, both of which are mandatory. The role covers LC management, import and export banking procedures, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, UAE VAT accounting and compliance, and UAE Corporate Tax support, while coordinating with banks, suppliers, customers and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Letters of Credit (LC), including documentation, bank coordination and amendments
- Handle import and export banking procedures and trade finance documentation
- Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier payments and customer collections
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions
- Handle UAE VAT accounting and compliance
- Support UAE Corporate Tax calculations and compliance
- Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customers and internal departments
