D1 Management, which oversees a diverse portfolio of subsidiaries including Dubai Equine Hospital, Dubai Camel Hospital, Zabeel Veterinary Hospital and Central Veterinary Research Laboratory, is hiring an experienced Accountant for Billing and Cashier duties in Dubai with a salary of AED 5,000 to 7,000 per month. The role is responsible for billing, accounts receivable, cash collections, customer account reconciliation and credit control, with a strong focus on timely collections and reducing overdue balances. Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce, 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Management or Credit Control, and strong Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting system skills, with Oracle experience an advantage. Native Arabic speakers have an advantage, and candidates with prior experience in veterinary, animal healthcare, hospital, clinic, pharmacy or healthcare service industries will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor accounts receivable and customer balances
- Handle and reconcile customer payments, including cash, cheques, bank transfers and credit-card transactions
- Follow up with clients regarding outstanding and overdue invoices
- Prepare and review receivables aging reports and follow up on long-outstanding balances
- Obtain payment commitments and follow up until settlement
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies, disputes and unidentified receipts
- Monitor credit limits, payment terms and customer credit exposure
- Coordinate with Operations and other departments to resolve billing and collection issues
- Prepare regular collection, overdue, aging and credit-exposure reports
- Support month-end closing, Accounts Receivable reconciliation, audit requirements and Expected Credit Loss reviews
- Maintain accurate documentation and proper audit trails for billing, collection and receivable activities

Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Management or Credit Control
- Strong experience in a corporate or group-company environment
- Good understanding of receivables aging, reconciliations, credit limits, payment terms and credit-risk management
- Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP or accounting system skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is an advantage
- Native Arabic speaker is an advantage
