Job Summary
Pet Corner is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join its dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, have 5+ years of accounting experience including at least 2 years in a senior role, and possess strong knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations. CPA or ACCA qualification and ERP proficiency are preferred. This is a great opportunity to grow with one of the UAE's leading pet retail companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements.
- Manage the general ledger and month-end and year-end closing.
- Ensure accuracy of accounts and financial records.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with auditors, manage audits, and support financial reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Senior Accountant vacancy in Dubai must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and financial regulations.
