Job Summary
Al Ghurair Facility Management is looking for an Accounts Receivable / Billing Accountant to join its Finance team in Umm Ramool, Dubai. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role plays a key part in managing the order-to-cash cycle by ensuring accurate billing, timely invoicing, and effective collections. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, have 3 to 5 years of AR or billing experience ideally in services or facility management, along with UAE VAT knowledge, ERP experience, and strong Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain customer contract and billing data; pull billing data and match it to contracts, including PPM schedules supplied by Operations.
- Generate scheduled and contract-based invoices; circulate drafts to account managers for approval; finalise, issue, and email invoices and record them in the AR subledger.
- Maintain daily book-keeping activities and keep ERP balances up to date.
- Track issued invoices through to receipt and collection; manage AR aging and customer follow-ups.
- Identify disputed invoices and raise provisions in coordination with the Financial Controller.
- Support the family-business recharge billing at month-end.
- Support the FC on day-to-day receivables activities and during month-end, year-end activities including preparing forecasts and budget.

Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of accounts-receivable or billing experience, ideally in services or facility management.
- UAE VAT knowledge, ERP experience, and strong Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through; fluent English (Arabic an advantage).
