Job Overview
Job Summary
Leads Petronet General Contracting L. L. C is seeking an experienced Accountant & HR Administrator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of GCC experience in the Construction or Oil & Gas industry, with strong knowledge of financial reporting, AP/AR, UAE VAT, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing. The role also requires experience in HR administration, employee records, payroll support, and visa documentation. A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Responsibilities
- Manage financial reporting, including preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of cash flow records.
- Ensure UAE VAT compliance and prepare VAT returns.
- Execute month-end closing activities and prepare financial reports.
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems.
HR Administration Responsibilities
- Manage employee records and maintain accurate HR documentation.
- Support payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.
- Handle visa documentation, renewals, and employee onboarding.
- Coordinate with government authorities for labor and immigration matters.
- Assist with recruitment, interviews, and new hire orientation.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Accountant & HR Administrator vacancy in Abu Dhabi must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Requirements
- 3-5 years of GCC experience (Construction/Oil & Gas preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting, AP/AR, UAE VAT, Bank Reconciliation, and Month-End Closing
- Experience in HR administration, employee records, payroll support, and visa documentation
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Knowledge of UAE labor laws and immigration procedures
