Job Summary

Dolphin Group is looking for a results-driven Operations Manager to lead project execution, resource planning and operational performance across oilfield engineering projects in the UAE. The role requires strong leadership in equipment mobilisation, ADNOC compliance, project costing, manpower planning, HSE standards, budgets and 24/7 urgent operational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and confirm all project resources, including equipment, operators, riggers and technicians.
  • Oversee equipment mobilisation and demobilisation to meet ADNOC specifications and TPI certifications.
  • Provide operational inputs for bids, costing and technical submissions.
  • Coordinate manpower with HR and approve overtime and rotations as per MOHRE regulations.
  • Ensure full compliance with ADNOC HSE, PTW and Dolphin safety standards.
  • Promote a Zero LTI and zero NPT culture across all projects.
  • Monitor budgets covering equipment utilisation, diesel, manpower and mobilisation costs.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and support Finance with billing documentation.
  • Provide 24/7 operational support for urgent mobilisations and emergency callouts.

Qualifications & Requirements

The ideal candidate for this Operations Manager vacancy in Abu Dhabi must meet the following criteria:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • MBA in Operations is an advantage.
  • 15+ years of experience in oilfield equipment, heat transfer, vessels and operations.
  • 8+ years of UAE or GCC experience.
  • 3+ years in a senior operations leadership role.
  • NEBOSH IGC, ADNOC HSE or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Key Skills

  • Strong project planning, resource management and bid preparation experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of ADNOC standards and UAE MOHRE labour regulations.
  • Crisis management mindset with strong multicultural team leadership.
  • Fluent English is required; Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is an advantage.

UAE Requirements

  • Currently based in the UAE.
  • Transferable visa preferred.
  • Available for site visits and out-of-hours operational response.
