We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team and take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping and financial reporting for several of our clients. You will play a key role in making sure everything is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
Description
Positions:

- Managing the full bookkeeping process for multiple clients — making sure every transaction is recorded properly in the correct ledger heads, and also maintaining proper supporting documents for each transaction.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports from accounting software by following the established protocols.
- Handling and maintaining clean and up-to-date accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring all balance sheet ledgers are accurate and up to date.
- Reconciling accounts regularly to catch and fix any discrepancies before sending out the accounting reports.
- Assisting with VAT and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) filings — accuracy is key!
- Helped ensure clients stay compliant with VAT, CIT, labour laws, and other authorities’ requirements and met deadlines.
- Communicated with clients directly to understand the financial data, asked questions, gave suggestions, and got the necessary accounting documents on time.
Requirements
- A background in accounting or finance, with at least 2–4 years of hands-on experience (UAE experience is a plus).
- Working knowledge of VAT and CIT regulations.
- Experience using accounting software like MS Dynamics, QuickBooks, and Zoho.
- Someone who’s detail-oriented, well-organized, and can keep track of multiple deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence navigating accounting systems.
- A team player with good communication skills and a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
