Job Summary
We are seeking an engineer who can do the technical work, manage site execution, and deliver results—not just supervise. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in high-rise building construction and MEPF works, with contractor-side construction site experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle mechanical/HVAC engineering, design review, calculations, and site execution.
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and material requirements.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, manpower, and installation works.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other trades.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Senior Mechanical Engineer vacancy in Dubai must meet the following criteria:
Technical Skills
- Air-conditioning, VRF/VRV, and chilled water systems.
- Ducting, ventilation, pumps, and hydraulic calculations.
- Stairwell pressurization and smoke extraction.
- Fire protection, electrical, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
- Elevators and generators.
- Carrier HAP for HVAC load calculations.
- Civil/structural works and MEPF coordination.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering; professional license preferred or required where applicable.
- Substantial experience in high-rise building construction and MEPF works.
- Must have contractor-side construction site experience, with direct involvement in engineering, installation, coordination, and project execution.
