Job Summary
Al-Faisal Group is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the Real Estate industry to join their team in Umm Al Quwain. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, handling property-related accounting, monitoring rental collections, and ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax. Arabic nationality is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Handle real estate accounting related to property sales, leasing, rental income, and property management.
- Monitor rental collections, outstanding receivables, tenant accounts, and security deposits.
- Manage property-related expenses, service charges, maintenance costs, and operating expenses.
- Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable accounting regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Support management with financial analysis and cost-control initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Senior Accountant vacancy in Umm Al Quwain must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE real estate sector.
- Strong knowledge of property accounting, rental income, and lease-related transactions.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Arabic nationality is mandatory.
