Job Summary
Aroma International Building Contracting is seeking a Senior Accountant with 7 to 10 years of experience in the UAE construction industry. The role involves project accounting, job costing, budgeting, cost control, and managing cash flow, internal audits, and finalization of books of accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and accounting regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project accounting, job costing, budgeting, and cost control.
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable accounting regulations.
- Independently manage accounting operations and meet reporting deadlines.
- Execute cash-flow management, internal audit, and finalization of books of accounts.
- Prepare MIS reports and arrange bank facilities (OD, Credit Limits, etc.).
- Handle Letter of Credits, Guarantees, Bills discounting, subcontract agreements, and shipping.
Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory
- Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant accounting experience in a UAE construction company.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and applicable accounting regulations.
- Proficiency in Accounting software/ERP and MS Excel.
- Ability to independently handle accounting operations and meet deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience in cash-flow management, internal audit, and finalization of accounts.
- Experience arranging bank facilities and handling LCs and guarantees.
