Job Summary
Rove Group is seeking a Project Coordinator for Switchgear to coordinate projects from order receipt to final delivery in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of project coordination experience, practical knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, and the ability to read electrical single-line diagrams and technical drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate switchgear projects from order receipt to final delivery.
- Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and client requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering teams for drawings, technical submittals, and approvals.
- Follow up with procurement, production, testing, and quality teams.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules and track project progress.
- Coordinate FAT, inspection, testing, and client approvals.
- Monitor material availability and delivery schedules.
- Prepare project status reports and communicate updates to management and clients.
- Maintain project documentation, including drawings, approvals, inspection reports, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors when required.
- Identify project delays or technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure project activities comply with company procedures, quality standards, and client requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Project Coordinator Switchgear vacancy in Dubai must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in project coordination or project management.
- Practical knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, MCC, PCC, DBs, ATS, control panels, or related electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical single-line diagrams and technical drawings.
Preferred
- Experience with switchgear manufacturers, panel builders, EPC companies, or electrical contracting companies.
- Familiarity with IEC standards and electrical testing/FAT procedures.
