Job Summary
Katara Studios is seeking Finance & Accounting Support for a 2.5-month immediate start contract in Doha, with the possibility of extension. The role involves compiling backup documents for production expenses, processing vendor and crew invoices, supporting weekly cost reports, and performing bank and petty cash reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of finance experience, strong Excel skills, and be comfortable working long hours to meet tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and check backup documents for all production expenses.
- Process and track vendor and crew invoices and payments.
- Support the preparation of weekly cost reports.
- Perform bank and petty cash reconciliations.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Finance & Accounting Support vacancy in Qatar must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Based in Qatar and available to start immediately.
- At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Confident in Excel: formulas, filters, pivot tables, and lookups.
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and reconciliations.
- Experience with any accounting software or ERP.
Preferred
- Film or TV production experience is a plus.
- Arabic is a plus.
