Job Overview
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Accountant to maintain daily accounting entries, manage AP/AR, prepare financial reports, and ensure accurate bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will have basic accounting knowledge, good MS Excel skills, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting entries and financial records.
- Prepare sales invoices, quotations, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
- Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and assist with financial reports.
- Perform bank reconciliation and verify account balances.
- Maintain petty cash records and monitor daily expenses.
- Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payment documents.
- Record purchases, sales, expenses, and other financial transactions.
- Assist with VAT reporting and tax-related documentation.
- Monitor inventory-related transactions and coordinate with sales/store teams.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and organized financial files.
- Use MS Excel and accounting software for data entry and reporting.
- Assist management with monthly closing and other accounting tasks.
