Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, organised, and proactive Accountant to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of four companies within our nursery and education group. The role involves working closely with nursery managers, administrators, and management to ensure accurate financial reporting, efficient financial processes, and smooth daily accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete day-to-day accounting functions for four companies within the group.
- Oversee invoicing, fee collections, payment tracking, receipts, and outstanding balances.
- Work closely with nursery administrators to ensure accurate parent billing and payment reconciliation.
- Prepare and manage VAT calculations, returns, and compliance with UAE tax regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Handle bank reconciliations, supplier payments, petty cash, and expense monitoring.
- Oversee payroll preparation, salary calculations, and related financial records.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow statements, budgets, and management summaries.
- Visit different nursery locations weekly to support administrative teams and review financial records.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Experience managing accounts for multiple companies or branches.

- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, corporate tax requirements, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Valid UAE driving licence and own car are mandatory, as the role requires working from different locations on a weekly rotational basis.
