Job Overview
Job Summary
We are looking for an Accountant to take ownership of revenue recognition, WIP reconciliations, and departmental compliance across IFRS, local GAAP, and J-SOX standards. You will act as a key financial partner collaborating across Elliott Entities, Repairs Operations, and regional leadership in EMA.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & WIP
- Ensure all monthly revenue is fully reconciled in a timely manner, with related costs accurately linked to each job.
- Ensure all Work in Progress (WIP) balances for the month are fully reconciled, tracking milestones and investigating variances.
- Calculate cost accruals for internal costs not received, as well as cost overage accruals.
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure strict adherence to IFRS, local GAAP, and J-SOX internal control frameworks.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring full substantiation of accounts.
- Manage the accurate preparation and calculation of monthly commission payments.
- Review and verify bank payment requests against supporting documentation, processing approvals in line with delegated authorization limits.
- Assist the SSC Accounting Manager and entity Finance Managers with ad-hoc reporting, technical analysis, and audit requirements.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
