Job Overview
Job Summary
LIFECO is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage our daily accounting operations and support sound financial decision-making in Dubai. This role involves preparing financial reports, managing cash flow and budgets, overseeing supplier payments and Letters of Credit, handling accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring accurate and timely financial records. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the firefighting industry, with strong hands-on experience with Oracle accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial planning.
- Develop and maintain accurate cash-flow forecasts based on supplier payment schedules.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Manage and monitor Letters of Credit (LCs) with suppliers.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
- Provide financial insights and act as an advisor to management.
- Lead and support the accounting team while collaborating with other departments.
