Job Overview
Job Summary
ALD Chemicals Trading LLC is looking for an experienced Procurement Professional to join their team in Business Bay, Dubai. There are 2 vacancies available. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of procurement experience in the chemical industry, a strong supplier network, and experience sourcing chemicals, minerals, and fertilizers. Candidates with UAE experience and an established chemical supplier network will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with chemical suppliers, manufacturers, and traders
- Manage procurement of chemicals, minerals, and fertilizers
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and follow up on orders
- Handle international purchasing and import procedures
- Monitor pricing, MOQ, lead times, and shipping terms
- Ensure timely delivery and cost-effective procurement
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Procurement Professional vacancy must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in the chemical industry – Mandatory
- Strong chemical supplier knowledge and established supplier network
- Experience sourcing chemicals, minerals and fertilizers
- Strong supplier sourcing, evaluation and negotiation skills
Preferred Product Experience
- Soda Ash | Barite | Calcium Chloride | Sulphur | Methanol | Phosphoric Acid | Urea | UAN 32% & 28% | SOP | APP Liquid | Chickpeas | Lentils
Eligibility
- Experience dealing with manufacturers, suppliers and traders
- Good knowledge of pricing, MOQ, lead times and shipping terms
- Knowledge of international purchasing and import procedures
- Strong supplier relationship management and follow-up skills
- UAE chemical procurement experience preferred
