Job Overview
Job Summary
High Trust General Contracting is looking for an experienced ME & Planner / Planning Engineer to join their Technical team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within construction or infrastructure projects. Primavera P6 experience is mandatory. The role involves developing baseline schedules, monitoring project progress, analyzing delays, and preparing progress reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain baseline project schedules
- Prepare WBS, project timelines, and schedule updates
- Monitor project progress against approved plans and milestones
- Analyze delays, productivity trends, and schedule deviations
- Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and management dashboards
- Develop recovery schedules and support risk mitigation plans
- Monitor critical path activities and project performance
- Coordinate with Operations, Technical, Procurement, and Project teams
- Support resource planning and continuous improvement of planning processes
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Planner / Planning Engineer vacancy must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong experience in project monitoring, progress reporting, and schedule control
- Primavera P6 experience is mandatory
Eligibility
- Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Power BI knowledge is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
- Good English communication skills
- Primavera P6 Certification is preferred; PMP is an advantage
