Job Summary
Aqua Flair Trading LLC is hiring a Junior Accountant with Odoo Accounting experience to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience, practical knowledge and hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting, and a good understanding of day-to-day accounting operations. UAE accounting experience is an advantage. Candidates must be currently based in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions using Odoo Accounting
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and record invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations
- Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on receivables
- Assist in preparing financial reports and accounting statements
- Maintain organized records of invoices, purchase documents, and other financial documents
- Assist with VAT-related accounting and documentation
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding invoices, payments, and financial documentation
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Junior Accountant vacancy must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- Must have practical knowledge and hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting
- Good understanding of Odoo modules related to invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payments, expenses, and financial reporting
- 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Eligibility
- UAE accounting experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting practices is preferred
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
