Job Summary
Doha Petroleum Construction Co. W.L.L is hiring an experienced HSE Officer for an onshore Oil & Gas project in Doha. The ideal candidate holds a NEBOSH or OSHA certification, possesses 7-10 years of HSE experience in the Oil & Gas sector, and has strong leadership skills to enforce safety standards, conduct inspections, and manage Permit to Work (PTW) systems. This is an immediate joining role with a competitive salary package.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily HSE monitoring and site inspections
- Implement PTW (Permit to Work) systems and conduct toolbox talks
- Ensure full compliance with offshore HSE regulations and standards
- Perform Hazard Identification (HAZID) and promote risk awareness
- Report and follow up on unsafe acts and unsafe conditions
- Support and coordinate emergency response activities
- Maintain incident reporting and ensure alignment with ISO 45001 standards
- Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this HSE Officer vacancy in Doha must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering or a related field
- Certification in HSE management, such as NEBOSH, OSHA or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of HSE experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong understanding of HSE safety standards and procedures
