Job Overview
Job Summary
Emirates Extrusion Factory is looking for an Assistant HSE Officer to join their HSE team in Dubai. The role involves daily worksite inspections, hazard identification, risk assessments, HSE performance monitoring, incident investigation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The candidate must be willing to work rotational shifts and join immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily worksite inspections and hazard identification
- Review and update Risk Assessments / Hazard Analysis
- Monitor HSE performance, KPIs and maintain records
- Conduct HSE induction and Tool Box Talks
- Ensure proper PPE availability and usage
- Investigate incidents; identify root cause and implement corrective actions
- Inspect firefighting, first aid and LPG systems
- Ensure waste segregation and disposal compliance
- Manage Emergency Response Plan and conduct drills
- Liaise with auditors, Trakhees, DCD and Dubai Municipality
- Manage OFC renewal and compliance process
- Maintain training and certification records
- Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems
- Monitor high-risk activities and LOTO procedures
- Lead 5S implementation across the facility
- Inspect staff accommodation for safety and hygiene
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Assistant HSE Officer vacancy must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory
- Relevant HSE experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigation
- Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Willing to work rotational shifts (day/night)
- Immediate joiners preferred
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in HSE, Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and authorities (Trakhees, DCD, Dubai Municipality)
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Experience with LOTO procedures and 5S implementation
