Job Summary
AMS Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to support the Deputy Finance Manager with day-to-day accounting operations at Advanced Travel and Tourism in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Familiarity with Tracs accounting software is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and record journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Support in reporting expense reimbursements.
- Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist with audits by providing required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned, including cash/cheque bank deposit and collections.
Qualifications & Requirements
