Al Basel Cosmetics is growing and looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The role involves managing daily accounting transactions, bookkeeping, AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, financial reporting, and VAT compliance. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Handle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
- Prepare invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger entries.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Monitor cash flow and support cost and profitability analysis.
- Assist with audits and financial compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Support management with financial insights and reporting.
- Contribute to improving accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Accountant vacancy in Sharjah must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience as an Accountant, preferably in retail, wholesale, or a similar UAE-based business.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, AP/AR, and general ledger management.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
