Job Summary
Ovington Contracting L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the contracting industry only. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of relevant experience and be passionate about delivering excellence in finance and accounting. This role requires expertise in maintaining books of accounts, managing AP/AR, VAT compliance, project cost accounting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain proper books of accounts and ensure accurate, timely postings.
- Manage accounts payable, subcontractor invoices and payment tracking.
- Monitor accounts receivable, collections and ageing reports.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and support monthly closing schedules.
- Coordinate VAT records and support timely VAT return filing.
- Maintain project cost records and support budget monitoring.
- Prepare MIS/management reports and coordinate with external auditors.
