Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for construction projects.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, services, and equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to determine project-specific procurement needs.
- Ensure materials and services meet project specifications, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with vendors to avoid project delays.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in inventory management and logistics coordination for construction materials.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies related to procurement activities.
