Job Summary
Roots & Routes Tourism L.L.C. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations. Experience in the travel and tourism industry is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts and supplier/customer accounts.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Handle VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support external audits and maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Accountant vacancy in Dubai must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Odoo, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills in English
