Job Summary
MGI Vision Chartered Accountants is looking for an experienced Manager – Internal Audit to lead and strengthen our Internal Audit function in Oman. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of internal audit or risk advisory experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. This is an excellent opportunity to lead risk-based audit engagements, mentor team members, and contribute to the growth of our internal audit practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage risk-based internal audit engagements including planning and team supervision.
- Conduct risk assessments, process reviews, control testing, and governance evaluations.
- Present audit findings and recommendations to Boards, Audit Committees, and Senior Management.
- Ensure compliance with IIA Standards, COSO Framework, ISO 31000, and relevant Oman regulations.
- Support business development and contribute to the growth of the internal audit practice.
- Mentor and develop team members while ensuring high quality deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Manager – Internal Audit vacancy in Oman must meet the following criteria:
Mandatory Requirements
- CA, ACCA, CPA, or CIA qualification (CIA preferred)
- 8 to 10 years of internal audit or risk advisory experience
- At least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of risk-based auditing, internal controls, governance, and compliance
- Knowledge of IIA Standards, COSO Framework, ISO 31000
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
