Job Summary
VANEST for Medical Equipment Trading LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support its Finance Department in managing daily accounting operations. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, monitoring receivables and payables, and ensuring compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to build a long-term career in accounting within the medical and dental equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system (Odoo ERP).
- Assist in maintaining the General Ledger and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and account adjustments.
- Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, and coordinate supplier payments.
- Prepare customer invoices, monitor outstanding receivables, and update payment records.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile petty cash.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, sales reports, expense reports, and cash flow summaries.
- Coordinate with Warehouse and Procurement teams to ensure accurate inventory transactions.
- Maintain organized financial records for audits and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards.
