Job Overview
Job Summary
Memaar Building Systems FZC is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Design Engineer to join our growing team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings (PEB) industry, with strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software including MBS, STAAD.Pro, and IDEA StatiCa. This role requires expertise in structural analysis and design of buildings in line with international codes (American, Indian, Euro, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings in accordance with relevant codes (American, Indian, Euro, etc.).
- Utilize MBS (Metal Building Software) for design and analysis of steel structures.
- Create design spreadsheets, tools, and guidelines using programming skills (Excel VBA, C#, Python).
- Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, and drawings using STAAD.Pro, IDEA StatiCa, RAM, ETABS, and ZWCAD.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Review and optimize structural designs for efficiency and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design issues.
