Job Summary
Otis, the world's leading elevator and escalator company, is seeking an Accounting Lead for its Middle East entities in Dubai. The role holder is responsible for managing the accounting function, ensuring effective management and implementation of accounting policies as per approved guidelines. The position leads financial close, reporting, general ledger management, compliance, team leadership, process improvement, and stakeholder management across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
- Oversee general ledger activities and ensure data integrity.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate policies.
- Support audits (internal and external) with required documentation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the R2R team.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with FP&A, AP, AR, Tax, and business units.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Provide insights and financial analysis to support decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements
