Job Summary
MIZOC Logistics is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. The role involves managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial reports, handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, monitoring cash flow, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE/GCC, expertise in VAT and Corporate Tax filings for both the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and a strong understanding of GCC tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including recording transactions and maintaining ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Prepare tax-related documentation, VAT filings, and Corporate Tax filings for UAE and Saudi Arabia.
- Ensure timely submission of all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the UAE and GCC region.

- Thorough understanding of GCC tax regulations and statutory compliance.
