Job Summary
Anchorage Shipping Line is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Accountant to join our Dubai team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in NVOCC or Main Line shipping, with strong hands-on experience in Statement of Accounts, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and financial reconciliations. Only candidates with a shipping background will be contacted for an interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Statement of Accounts (SOA) and Accounts Payable processes.
- Handle Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
- Maintain general ledger and perform financial reconciliations.
- Process shipping-related financial transactions and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on financial matters.
- Support month-end closing and financial reporting activities.
