Job Summary
EPTA Accounting & Bookkeeping Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at our Head Office in Ajman. The successful candidate will be part of a professional firm providing accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, tax, and financial advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients across the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and prepare daily journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare and review VAT returns and ensure tax compliance.
- Provide bookkeeping services and maintain accounting records for multiple clients.
- Assist with internal and external audit engagements and prepare audit working papers.
- Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare supporting schedules and financial reports for audit and compliance purposes.
- Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
