Job Summary
Wellbing Technologies is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Accountant to oversee the full spectrum of financial operations at its Sharjah Free Zone office. The role demands strong financial governance, full compliance with UAE VAT and FTA regulations, and the delivery of strategic financial insights to support business growth. Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and advanced Excel is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Oversee the full accounting cycle including GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and fixed assets.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Deliver management reports, variance analysis, and financial performance insights.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
Compliance & Taxation (UAE)
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.
- Prepare and review VAT returns and supporting schedules.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and regulatory purposes.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts in coordination with management.
- Monitor expenses, analyze variances, and recommend cost control measures.
- Oversee operational costs including utilities, rentals, and recurring expenses.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely completion.
- Strengthen internal control systems and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Support audit requirements with accurate documentation and reports.
Contracts & Vendor Management
- Manage and review lease agreements, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
- Track contract renewals and ensure timely action for renewals or negotiations.
Leadership & Systems
- Supervise accounting processes and guide finance team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments and support senior management in financial decision-making.
- Work extensively on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and advanced Excel for reporting and dashboards.
