Job Summary
Cavend Construction is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join its team in Dubai. The role develops and implements procurement strategies, sources and evaluates suppliers and subcontractors, negotiates contract terms, prices and delivery schedules, manages purchase orders and documentation, monitors vendor performance and coordinates with project, finance and site teams. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of procurement experience in construction, strong supplier sourcing and negotiation skills, knowledge of construction materials, and a mandatory UAE driving license.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies.
- Source, evaluate and select suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate contract terms, prices and delivery schedules.
- Manage purchase orders and procurement documentation.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure contract compliance.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment and services, and manage inventory levels.
- Analyze market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with project, finance and site teams, maintain accurate records and conduct supplier audits.
Qualifications & Requirements

Mandatory
- Minimum 3+ years of procurement experience in construction.
