Job Summary
3S Light is seeking a Lighting Commissioning & Programming Engineer to manage commissioning, programming, testing, troubleshooting, and handover of architectural lighting systems in Dubai. The role involves working on façade, landscape, and interior lighting projects while ensuring systems are delivered according to design intent, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission architectural lighting systems including fixtures, drivers, and control systems.
- Program and configure lighting control systems such as DALI, DMX, and KNX.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and fault rectification.
- Execute scene setting, dimming adjustments, and fixture focusing to achieve design intent.
- Integrate lighting controls with project requirements and user interfaces.
- Coordinate with lighting designers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
- Prepare commissioning documentation, reports, and as-built records.
- Support project handover and client demonstrations.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
