Job Summary
Firesecure is looking for a Design & Estimation Engineer to support fire protection projects through technical design, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and compliance with NFPA and Civil Defense standards. This role is ideal for candidates with AutoCAD skills, fire alarm and emergency lighting system knowledge, and experience coordinating with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed designs for fire protection, fire alarm, and emergency lighting systems.
- Design sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, hose reels, and gas suppression systems in compliance with NFPA and Civil Defense regulations.
- Develop shop drawings and schematic diagrams using AutoCAD.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, tender documents, and bid submissions.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, sales teams, and project teams to clarify technical requirements and ensure smooth execution.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors for material selection, pricing, and technical compliance.
- Support AMC, fit-out, and project activities with technical inputs.
