Job Summary
S.S. Lootah Group is looking for a highly experienced Procurement Engineer to lead procurement activities across Civil and MEP construction projects. The role requires strong UAE market experience, supplier management skills, ERP knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams for timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify material and service requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate quotations to achieve best value and cost efficiency.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders in line with company policies.
- Procure materials, equipment, and services for projects and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams for timely delivery.
- Monitor supplier performance, quality, and delivery commitments.
- Resolve procurement issues, delays, and supplier-related challenges.
- Manage procurement activities using ERP systems, preferably Oracle NetSuite or similar.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and procurement documentation.
